Intern.. echem.. Assistant Diaries

A couple weekends ago I was lucky enough to attend the Chicago Humanities Festival's Fast Fashion talk led by Elizabeth Cline, author of Overdressed: The Shockingly High Cost of Cheap FashionI'd initially heard about the book from Chelli, after hearing the concept I was immediately drawn in. Ethical and sustainable fashion is a large as aspect of CHC and it has become a cause that is very close to my heart. I was beaming through the whole presentation, and by the end of it I felt very hopeful that the cause will quickly gain more attention. Thank you to Ms. Cline, CHF and Chelli for this enriching experience. For more on this topic visit Fashion Revolution, and to see how CHC remains a slow fashion company, see our Process page. xx Sav
