mark it on your calendars.....i have a blog! did you ever see this day coming?!....me either. to be honest, writing about myself/my company is not my strong suit, by any stretch of the imagination. buuuuut, i'm a growing business, so it has to be done:-)
what better way to turn this new leaf than to let you know what chc was up to very recently; the chicago market at the merchandise mart. and if you're wondering if it's as exciting as it sounds, it was....atleast for me. it's "the biggest and best gift and home market in the midwest" and i had the opportunity to be a part of its new wing of "emerging artists."
overall the show was a great experience. being such a fresh company, i look forward to any chance to be a sponge; soaking up everything i can. i met several talented and innovative artists and mingled with some fabulous boutique and small shop owners.
not only did this challenge me in speaking confidently about myself and chc but it also granted me the practice of setting up a new size of booth space....but that is a story, pardon me-blog post, for another day!
