Behind the Scenes: MONO.CHROME

It was a sincere pleasure to work with
Photographer : @kwesithethird

With a clear vision and the excitement of working together for the first time, Kwesi and I set out to put together a shoot that spoke to the current place of each of our levels and atmospheres of craft.

While the words came after, I knew the essence of what I wanted to say. Kwesi made it happen visually and I endeavored to articulate the larger idea "verbally."

Pleased to share this with you all:

Words ....

m o n o
kiss away your dis ease of
the broad spectrum of color all around
sometimes only truly appreciated when stripped down

c h r o m e
wave your preconceived notions of “other” away
there was no real length to them anyway
such short-sighted-ness
lives a half life
what a mess

so now that there's an opening in your mind
relinquish the stance of only seeing the world as
“this is mine”

a thought process revolution
seeing the world ndsıpǝ poʍu
Your Creator knew better and set your retina to see the ɹǝɥʇo way around.
