CHConscious is a short segment for us to show you what we have learned. Luckily, there are others out there who continue to share information about the industry. Some are DIY experts, others know how to create a minimalist wardrobe that lasts, but all are worth following!
Geneva Vanderzeil:
Geneva is the mind behind "A Pair and a Spare" a lifestyle blog with plenty of out of the box DIYs to elevate your wardrobe and decor. Plus her travel tips are helpful in a pinch!
Hannah Theisen:
Hannah shares her knowledge of the industry on Life+Style+Justice. Her well-organized guides for where to buy are helpful when looking for specific items in a conscious way :)
Elizabeth Cline
You've seen us mention Elizabeth's book many times. It is still a highly recommended read from us! If you want a general idea for what fast fashion is and why we need to step away from it, this book is a great overview. Cline still posts news she discovers, so following her socials is always interesting.
Natalie Kay
Creator of Sustainably Chic. Her blog goes beyond just fashion, she goes into beauty and home as well. The posts are filled with reviews and recommendations that are worth heeding!
Caroline Rector
Master of the capsule wardrobe! (You can see our take on it here) Caroline has gotten her minimalism down to a science. Her creative style and versatile looks are the perfect model for the less is more mentality. Plus, if you're thinking of trying a capsule wardrobe yourself her blog makes it easy!
Of course if you have people you think should be on here email us at info@shopchc.com or leave a comment!

"To keep going, is to believe that there is always an invitation, is a truly creative act... There's sort of a healthy defiance involved. A hoping against hope. God continues to use creation, creativity, and the arts to point to and unlock hope, mystery, beauty, and love. An open invitation for us all."
I’ve made the hard decision to close CHC.
My vision to awaken the beauty in people through creating beautiful products and experiences remains in tact; CHC is simply no longer the vehicle to my vision. My depth of gratitude for your support (every step of the way) is inexpressible.
