Ciao, for Now!
As the 5 year mark of building CHC quickly approaches, I've decided to take a sabbatical. It's astounding how one conversation can open up new possibilities and considerations that never existed before. I had one of these crucial conversations in the beginning of the year with a seasoned entrepreneur. Per their advice and quite a bit of processing, I've decided to travel to Italy for a 3 month season to further my craft in leather work from some of the best in the world.
While I'm experiencing a cocktail of thoughts and emotions about what that means and how it impacts this current season of business, I am confident it will only serve to improve me, the product and your experience of this business, all at the same time.
So what does this mean for CHC?
As of September 1st, all production will be on pause until December 15th. This means that anything ordered during that time will not be received until mid-to-later December. The one exception to this is that we will still be present at the Holiday One of a Kind Show at the Merchandise Mart Dec 6-9, 2018. Two of my wonderful assistants will be featuring and selling some pre-made inventory for your holiday shopping needs.
What now?
1) You still have from now until September 1st to place any orders you would like! I'm looking to host an open studio or two before leaving so stay tuned for those to be announced!
2) And let me know ALL of your Italy recommendations! This time frame is set to work on my craft and realign my thoughts and dreams for the next season to come so I would love to check out places that my wonderful customers know and recommend!
